Global Gaming and Finnplay launch NanoCasino in Sweden
Online gambling operator Global Gaming has relaunched operations in Sweden following the launch of its new NanoCasino brand in partnership with gaming technology and platform provider Finnplay Group.
The NanoCasino.com website will operate under a Swedish commercial online gaming license owned by Viral Interactive Limited, which has a marketing agreement with one of Global Gaming's subsidiaries.
Viral Interactive, a subsidiary of Finnplay, will be fully responsible for the operation of NanoCasino.com in Sweden.
Details of the new online casino brand were announced by Swedish portal https://bastaspelbolagutanlicens.com/ last month, shortly after Global Gaming and Finnplay signed a new technology agreement. The deal gives Global Gaming access to Finnplay's full portfolio of solutions and full online gaming platforms.
In addition to Sweden, Finnplay is licensed or approved for commercial use in the UK, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, Estonia and Mexico.
"It's incredibly exciting that Viral is now launching NanoCasino.com with us as a partner; I hope and have reason to believe that Swedish customers will love it," said Global Gaming CEO Tobias Fagerlund.
"NanoCasino is a safe and secure online casino that focuses on fun and enjoyment and it is offered with one of the best, safest and most responsible platforms on the market."
Finnplay CEO Martin Prantner added: "We are looking forward to launching our new NanoCasino.com brand in Sweden and benefiting from Global Gaming's marketing expertise and resources.
"As a gaming platform provider in Northern Europe, Sweden is our home market and we are committed to complying with strict regulatory standards."
The launch will be a boost for Global Gaming, which in June saw its subsidiary SafeEnt stripped of its licence in Sweden by national gambling regulator Spelinspektionen. At the time, the regulator cited serious breaches of the country's player protection and anti-money laundering mechanisms as the reason for the move.
Global Gaming argues that the punishment is disproportionate and is still in the process of appealing the decision.
